Idaho Stampede lose to Westchester on road
Travis Trice II led four Westchester players in double figures with 19 points and six rebounds, and the Knicks (5-0) took control in the fourth quarter to beat Idaho 85-78 on Tuesday night.
Kevin Capers gave Westchester (5-0) the lead for good with consecutive 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter. EJ Singler put the Stampede (1-4) within one by hitting a 3 with 1:58 remaining, but the Knicks scored the final six points from the free-throw line.
Brandon Fields led Idaho in scoring with 14 points, and Jack Cooley had 13 points and 22 rebounds.
Idaho concludes its two-game road trip Wednesday in Mississauga, Ontario, where it faces the Toronto Raptors’ affiliate.
