College of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene meet in men’s basketball Tuesday

The College of Idaho hosts Northwest Nazarene for Game 2 of the United Heritage Mayor’s Cup at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The NCAA Division II Crusaders defeated the NAIA Division II Coyotes 100-96 in overtime Nov. 10, ending their streak of four straight losses in the state’s oldest college basketball rivalry.

Although the games are exhibition for Northwest Nazarene (2-0), the College of Idaho (4-3) will count both toward its record.

This is the 200th all-time meeting between the rival programs.
