Idaho Steelheads fall to Colorado in overtime

Colton Beck notched four points Friday night to take the outright lead in the ECHL scoring race, but it wasn’t enough as Idaho (5-7-4) fell to Colorado 5-4.

The Eagles scored just 43 seconds into overtime. Colorado and Idaho traded goals through the first two periods before the Steelheads went up 4-3 in the third period.

Taylor Peters, Rob Linsmayer and Brandon Magee also scored for the Steelheads. Beck, Linsmayer or Peters have factored in on the Steelheads’ last 15 consecutive goals. Friday was Beck’s fourth multi-point game in his past five and seventh of the hockey season.
