Forward Molin returns to Idaho Steelheads

Emil Molin rejoined Idaho’s ECHL team in Colorado on Tuesday from the Texas Stars, the Steelheads’ American Hockey League affiliate.

Molin, who will be available for Wednesday’s game against the Colorado Eagles, played one game with Texas, registering an assist and a plus-1 rating in a 6-3 win over the San Antonio Rampage.

Prior to his recall, Molin had four goals and nine points in Idaho’s first 11 games.

In other transactions, forward Chance Braid was traded to the Allen Americans, and defenseman Daniel Johnston was sent to the Wichita Thunder.

Both were traded for future considerations.
