Idaho Stampede re-acquire forward Cooley

Jack Cooley appeared in 20 games for Idaho’s NBA Development League franchise last season, averaging 16.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 blocks in 30.8 minutes of action.

This season, Cooley appeared in two preseason games for the Utah Jazz, averaging 1.5 rebounds in 3.3 minutes. He was waived by Utah on Oct. 13.

He was then signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 17, appearing in one preseason game and recording a game-high 15 rebounds in 18 minutes. He was waived Oct. 23, and the Stampede held his returning player rights.

To make room for Cooley, the Stampede waived guard Eric Atkins.
