Stampede waive two players; open Friday

Guard Nick Wiggins (Wichita State) and forward Mychal Ammons (South Alabama) were waived Wednesday, leaving Idaho’s NBA Development League franchise with 12 players. The Stampede open their regular season Friday and Saturday at Rio Grande Valley in Texas; their home opener is Wednesday night against the Iowa Energy in CenturyLink Arena.
