Idaho Steelheads lose top forward to Texas Stars

Emil Molin has been recalled by the Texas Stars, which is Idaho’s American Hockey League affiliate, head coach Neil Graham announced Monday.

Molin, 22, playing his first professional season in North America, is tied for second on the Steelheads in goals (four) and points (nine).

The Swede has played in all 11 games this season, and had three goals and an assist in the past four games.

He has an NHL contract with the Dallas Stars.

The Steelheads start an 18-day, nine-game road trip this week with games against Orlando, Florida, Colorado and Rapid City.
