Gladiators sweep series against Steelheads

Atlanta scored a goal in each period en route to a 3-1 ECHL hockey victory over Idaho on Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena, the Gladiators’ third win in Boise this week and their fifth straight road victory.

Cole Martin scored the Steelheads’ lone goal on a power play in the third period, and Philippe Desrosiers stopped 18 shots in goal.

The Steelheads (4-5-2) are now 1-3-2 at CenturyLink Arena, with their last win at home on opening night against the Rapid City Rush. Idaho heads out for a nine-game road-trip, with stops against the Orlando Solar Bears, the Florida Everblades, the Colorado Eagles and the Rush.
