Rihanna, ASAP Rocky Joined Knicks Fans on NYC Street to Celebrate Comeback
New York City is famously known as the city that never sleeps, and it may never sleep again after what the New York Knicks just did.
The Knicks have won 14 of their past 15 games, including two 20-plus second-half comebacks, but nothing was more impressive than pulling off the largest comeback in NBA Finals history at the expense of the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
The Spurs led by as many as 29 points in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. They held a 27-point lead at halftime, which felt like a relic by the time Knicks wing OG Anunoby tipped in the game winner with 1.2 seconds left. The Knicks won, 107-106, to take a 3-1 series lead and snatch San Antonio’s collective soul.
Madison Square Garden was packed with bewildered celebrities who lingered at The Mecca long after the buzzer had sounded. Of course, the party spilled out into multiple New York City streets, and that’s where Knicks fans encountered Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, one of music and fashion’s biggest power couples.
TMZ and various other accounts posted videos of Rihanna and Rocky shooting into a mini hoop while surrounded by overly hyped Knicks fans. TMZ’s video claimed this occurred at 3 a.m.
Earlier in this Finals series, GQ found Rocky amongst New Yorkers on the street and asked how long he’s been a Knicks fan, and his response was incredible.
“Get the [expletive] out of here, man,” Rocky said. “I’m from New York, sweetheart. I ain’t no Knicks fan. I am a Knick. You [expletive] me?”
That’s likely how all of New York feels today, and it will reach an incomprehensible level if the Knicks can win one more game to capture their first championship since 1973. Game 5 is set for Saturday at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
