Final Injury Report for 76ers-Knicks Game 2: Will Joel Embiid Play?
The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the New York Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Philadelphia enters Wednesday's game trailing 0-1 in the series after losing to New York on the road in Game 1 on Monday night.
In Monday's loss to the Knicks, Paul George led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 17 points, three rebounds and three assists while Joel Embiid added 14 points and four rebounds of his own.
Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back on the road on Wednesday as they try to grab a victory over the Knicks to tie the series at 1-1 before the series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3.
On the other side, New York enters Wednesday's contest with a 1-0 series lead after defeating the 76ers at home in dominant fashion on Monday night in Game 1.
Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks in Monday's victory as he ended the game with 35 points and three assists while Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 17 points, six rebounds and six assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 2 on Wednesday night, one side may be without one of their star players due to injury.
76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?
For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Embiid.
Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid due to an ankle and hip injury as he will miss his first game of the second round.

Of course, Embiid had previously been listed as probable for Wednesday's contest due to a right ankle sprain and he was expected to play but that changed when he was unable to participate in shootaround due to his ankle and hip injuries.
With Embiid sidelined, Andre Drummond and Adem Bona could both be in line for increased roles while the 76ers will likely rely on George, Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe to carry the load offensivley.
Knicks Injury Report
On the other side, the Knicks enter Wednesday's game with a healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report.

This has been a recurring theme for New York to begin the playoffs and they will look to use this to their advantage at home on Wednesday as they try to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.
