Our Pick 6 college football contest begins Black Friday this week, so line up your picks
It’s rivalry week in college football. And hopefully it’s rebound week for Pick 6 predictors.
After a stellar Week 11, contestants came back down to Earth a bit in Week 12, mostly because of losses by Utah and USC. Here are the winning teams, followed by the percentage of people who correctly picked them: Arizona over Utah (33%), Georgia over Tennessee (92%), Clemson over North Carolina (71%), UCLA over USC (13%), Boise State over Utah State (83%) and Washington over Oregon State (63%).
Two contestants in particular, however, bucked the trend and had a successful week. Mickey’s Granpa and SKHartley both finished in the Top 3 for the second week in a row, with Mickey’s Granpa finishing No. 1 in back-to-back weeks — the first time that’s happened this season. Here’s the full Pick 6 Top 6 for Week 12. Score predictions for the Boise State game were used as a tiebreaker — with margin of victory taking precedence, followed by total points scored.
In the overall standings, GenXMichael managed to maintain his three-game lead.
There was some slight movement in percentage leaders — which is best winning percentage for those who have participated in at least two-thirds of the contests (eight of the 12), but GenXMichael retained his lead here as well.
