Think you know college football? Join our weekly Pick 6 prediction contest and prove it
It was a rough week for Pick 6 contestants.
A week after six entrants scored a perfect 6-0 record, no one was able to get through undefeated this time. In fact, 79% of participants managed just a 3-3 record or worse — mostly because of Oklahoma’s defeat of Texas and Louisville’s upset win against Notre Dame.
Here are the winning teams from Week 6, followed by the percentage of people who correctly picked them: Oklahoma over Texas (12%), UCLA over Washington State (32%), Alabama over Texas A&M (65%), Louisville over Notre Dame (6%), Boise State over San Jose State (85%) and Oregon State over California (94%).
Here is the Pick 6 Top 6 for Week 6. Boise State score predictions were used as a tiebreaker — with margin of victory taking precedence, followed by total points scored. (Kernsy might have finished higher, but the tiebreaker submission was incomplete.)
And here are the season leaders through Week 6.
There are some tricky matchups for Week 7, but I know you can rebound. The first game in the lineup doesn’t start until 1:30 p.m. Mountain on Saturday, so you’ll have a bit longer to submit your picks. Here is a rundown of the rules.
1) List your name (optional).
2) List a unique user name if you don’t want your real name used (optional).
3) List your favorite college football team (optional).
4) Pick the winners of our six games.
5) As a tiebreaker, predict the final score of Boise State’s game.
6) You’ll have up until kickoff of the first game on our list to make your picks (1:30 p.m. Saturday).
Good luck! If the game format isn’t showing up below on your phone or browser, follow this link.
