Boise Hawks’ bats come alive for big win over Vancouver Canadians
Danny Edgeworth drove in four runs, and Boise notched 19 hits on its way to a 11-3 win over Vancouver on Saturday night in a Northwest League game at Memorial Stadium.
Edgeworth finished 3 for 4 with two doubles, leading a lineup that featured eight of nine starters with more than one hit.
Bret Boswell also had three hits, finishing a double away from the cycle.
Boise led the entire game after two runs in the bottom of the first, putting the game firmly out of reach with a five-run eighth inning.
The two teams continue their series Sunday.
