Boise Hawks’ bats come alive for big win over Vancouver Canadians

Danny Edgeworth drove in four runs, and Boise notched 19 hits on its way to a 11-3 win over Vancouver on Saturday night in a Northwest League game at Memorial Stadium.

Edgeworth finished 3 for 4 with two doubles, leading a lineup that featured eight of nine starters with more than one hit.

Bret Boswell also had three hits, finishing a double away from the cycle.

Boise led the entire game after two runs in the bottom of the first, putting the game firmly out of reach with a five-run eighth inning.

The two teams continue their series Sunday.
