Boise Hawks hammer Spokane Indians for third straight win
Danny Edgeworth went 3 for 4, Daniel Jipping went deep for the fourth time this season and Boise cruised past Spokane 8-2 on Friday night in Northwest League action at Memorial Stadium.
Jipping pushed Boise to 2-0 lead with his home run in the bottom of the first. Boise scored another run in the fourth, extending its lead to 3-1.
The Hawks exploded for five runs in the seventh, including a 2-run triple by Steven Linkous. Keinter Olivares picked up the win, scattering seven hits in six innings of work.
Boise and Spokane meet again Saturday night.
