Boise Nationals U-17 boys eliminated in Far West soccer semifinals
The U-17 Boise Nationals boys saw their Far West Regional soccer tournament run come to an end Saturday with a 6-0 loss to Washington’s Seattle United Copa at the 60 Acres Soccer Complex in Redmond, Wash.
Boise entered the semifinal matchup 4-0-0 and was attempting to become the first Idaho boys team to win a regional championship.
Only one team in Idaho history, the FC Nova-Nationals U-19 girls in 2015, has ever won a Far West title.
Seattle United will play Santa Clara Sporting 00B Green (N. Calif.) for the U-17 title at 9:15 a.m. Mountain time Sunday.
