Idaho Steelheads’ division realigned for next season
Idaho will have some new divisional rivals this upcoming season, the ECHL announced Tuesday.
The Wichita Thunder and Tulsa Oilers move from the Central Division to the Steelheads’ Mountain Division, and the Kansas City Mavericks will rejoin the Central after one season in the Mountain.
Alaska ceased operations after failing to make the playoffs.
The seven-team Mountain Division now includes Idaho, Wichita, Tulsa, Colorado Eagles, Allen Americans, Utah Grizzlies and Rapid City Rush.
