College of Idaho senior softball player Destiny Turner is the first two-time All-American in program history.

The former Mountain View High catcher was recently named to the 2017 second team for the second time in her career.

Turner wrapped up her career with multiple single-season and career records, and she finishes as the best hitter in the 16-year history of the program.

Turner set school and Cascade Conference records with her .521 batting average and a .621 on-base percentage, both of which ranked No. 2 in the NAIA this season.

She holds the top three single-season batting averages in program history and finished her career with a .438 batting average to go with 53 doubles, 19 home runs and 134 RBIs.

Turner joins former Yotes Katie Zillner (2008) and Nickayla Skinner (2014) as the only second-team All-Americans in program history.
