Idaho Steelheads win fourth straight game, beat Alaska Aces to finish regular season

Joe Faust’s third-period goal proved to be the difference as the Steelheads held off a furious Alaska rally for a 3-2 win in ECHL action late Saturday night.

Jefferson Dahl opened the scoring in the second period, and Anthony Luciani added another goal less than one minute before Faust.

Alaska, playing its final game in franchise history, scored twice in the final four minutes. Idaho starts the playoffs Friday at Colorado.
