Idaho Steelheads beat Alaska Aces with third straight shutout

Landon Bow stopped all 27 shots as Idaho outlasted Alaska 1-0 in ECHL hockey action late Friday night.

The win eliminated the Aces from playoff contention.

Anthony Luciani scored the games only goal 2:22 into the first period, his 30th of the season. Saturday’s regular-season finale, which was still in progress at press time, was the last game in Aces history.

Idaho finished third in the division and will play Colorado in the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs, starting Friday.
