Steelheads top Rush, continue series Friday

Aaron Harstad put Idaho up by a goal in the third, and Brian Nugent iced the game with an empty-net goal as Idaho beat Rapid City 3-1 in ECHL hockey action Wednesday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Rob Linsmayer also scored for Idaho. The teams continue their series Friday.

Earlier Wednesday, the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars recalled goalie Landon Bow. It will be his second stint with Texas this season.
