Idaho Steelheads complete series sweep of Rapid City Rush

Idaho scored three third-period goals to beat Rapid City 4-2 on Saturday night in ECHL action.

Idaho went into the period down 2-1, but Rob Linsmayer and Brian Nugent scored a little more than two minutes apart to give Idaho a lead. Linsmayer iced the game with an empty-net goal late.

Nugent also scored in the first period.

Idaho returns home Friday to host the Cincinnati Cyclones at CenturyLink Arena.
