Idaho Steelheads outlast Utah Grizzlies for shootout win

Idaho blew a two-goal lead in the third period, but held off Utah for a 3-2 shootout victory in ECHL hockey action Saturday night.

Bryce Van Brabant scored in the first and third periods to gave Idaho a lead, but Michael Pelech and Jon Puskar tied the game for the Grizzlies.

After a scoreless overtime, Jefferson Dahl scored for the Steelheads (28-17-7), and Landon Bow made 27 saves in goal for the game.

The two teams finish their series Monday.
