ECHL beats Adirondack in All-Star Classic

The ECHL All-Stars, with Idaho Steelheads rookie defenseman Travis Walsh in the lineup, defeated the Adirondack Thunder 8-7 on Wednesday night. Walsh, the only Idaho player in the game, had one shot on goal and finished plus-1. With two goals and two assists, Matt Garbowsky of the Colorado Eagles was voted MVP. Idaho resumes its season at Tulsa on Saturday and Sunday; the next home game is Feb. 1 against Utah.
