Rapid City Rush capitalize on six-goal period to beat Idaho Steelheads

The Rapid City Rush netted six goals in the third period to upend the Idaho Steelheads 7-4 in an ECHL hockey game Wednesday.

The game was tied 4-4 with less than eight minutes remaining in the final period, but the last-place Rush charged ahead with goals from Josh MacDonald, Ryan Walters and Ryan Misiak.

Joe Basaraba had two goals and an assist to lead Idaho, which plays games Friday and Saturday at Rapid City.
