Idaho Steelheads lose top defenseman Faust to Texas Stars of the AHL

Joe Faust signed a professional tryout agreement with the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars on Tuesday.

Faust is the fourth Steelhead under ECHL contract this season to head to the AHL.

Faust’s seven goals this season are a career-high and tied for the league lead among defenseman.

His 17 points are tied for ninth among ECHL blue-liners.
