Idaho Steelheads can’t hold early lead, fall to Colorado Eagles

Jefferson Dahl scored in the first period, but Idaho couldn’t find the net again, losing to Colorado 2-1 in an ECHL hockey game Friday night.

Colorado scored early in the second period and found a late winner in the third.

Branden Komm turned away 30 shots for Idaho (13-8-2), and the Steelheads outshot the Eagles 34-32. The two teams finish off their three-game series Saturday in Colorado.
