After winning back-to-back games at home, the Idaho Steelheads came up short 5-3 against Rapid City in ECHL hockey action Wednesday.
Jefferson Dahl scored twice for the Steelheads (3-4-1), who rallied from a two-goal deficit to tie the game in the second period. Joe Faust also scored for Idaho, and Rob Linsmayer led the team with two assists. Branden Komm recorded 16 saves in goal.
The Steelheads travel to Colorado for a two-game series Friday and Saturday.
