Idaho Steelheads forward sent back to AHL’s Stars

Caleb Herbert tallied a goal and an assist in his first four ECHL hockey games with Idaho, but he was recalled by the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars on Monday.

The Bloomington, Minn., native recorded 12 shots on goal and a plus-2 rating.

The Steelheads begin a three-game series against the Reading Royals on Wednesday at CenturyLink Arena. The puck drops at 7:10 p.m.
