Eagle High grad earns silver in wheelchair rugby at Paralympics
The United States wheelchair rugby team lost its first match of the Rio Games on Sunday in the final against Australia 59-58.
Kory Puderbaugh scored 10 goals for the Americans.
The U.S. went 3-0 in pool play, defeating France 51-42, Sweden 54-44 and Japan 57-56, then beat Canada 60-55 in the semifinals.
Making his Paralympic debut, Puderbaugh, 20, finished the tournament with 36 goals.
