Tamarack ski resort opens for one-day ‘sneak peek’ Saturday

The Discovery Chair at Tamarack Resort will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and skiers can take turns on the beginner hill.

Terrain park features will be built into the beginner hill to keep more experienced skiers and riders challenged, according to the resort. Tickets are $10. Children 6 and younger ski free.

“We want to invite people to come out, take a few fun turns and pick up their season pass,” said General Manager Brad Larsen. “It’s a great way for skiers to get an early start and scratch that itch.”

Tamarack’s official opening day is Dec. 11, at which point the resort will operate seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
