Mid-March storms fill ski areas with powder; Sun Valley gets 29 inches
Idaho’s ski areas are receiving a mid-March gift from Mother Nature.
Bogus Basin has received 10 inches of snow in the past 48 hours and 7 inches in the past 24 hours.
Tamarack Resort has received 15 inches in the past 48 hours and 6 inches in the past 24.
Brundage Mountain has received 11 inches in the past 48 hours and 9 in the past 24.
And Sun Valley Resort has received an incredible 29 inches of snow in the past 48 hours, including 15 in the past 24 hours.
The forecast calls for more snow and cold temperatures in the coming days.
The ski areas already were enjoying good March conditions.
