The outdoors is a big part of the Treasure Valley and Idaho lifestyle, and Idahoans’ collective love of hiking, fishing, biking, hunting, skiing, whitewater and other sports and activities helps fuel the state’s culture and economy.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or are new to the state, we want you to tell us what you’re wondering about Idaho’s outdoors. You can ask about specific activities, the environment, flora and fauna, history or general culture. But we might not give up our favorite fishing spot.

Ask a question through our Curious Idaho feature below. When we get enough questions, we’ll launch a voting round to pick the winner.

The question with the most votes will be given to our outdoors reporter Nicole Blanchard, who will investigate and write a story with the answer.

If you want to get involved, you can become part of the reporting process.
