New Hennessy Yurt named for the man who started Idaho’s popular mountain getaways

Leo Hennessy developed the backcountry yurt system for cross country skiers and snowshoers in 1989 for Idaho Parks and Recreation. The new Hennessy Yurt, about 20 miles north of Idaho City, was named in his honor.
