New path links Greenbelt to Whitewater Park Boulevard

A new spur linking Whitewater Park Boulevard to the Greenbelt and the Boise River Park will make travel easier for walkers, runners, cyclists and others. The path, which runs between Idaho River Sports and Quinn’s Pond, has been closed for improvements in relation to the work being done to build Esther Simplot Park.

Other improvements in the area include a sloping ramp into Quinn’s Pond for easier access for boats and paddle, a new dock, grassy areas beside the water and landscaping.

Esther Simplot Park is still under construction.
