Hope on the Slopes Ski and Ride for a Cure: Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and the vertical challenge at 9:30 a.m. at Brundage Mountain Resort, 3890 Goose Lake Road, McCall. Individuals and teams of 4 to 10 participants compete for the most vertical feet skied and most donations received. Hope on the Slopes is a non-profit organization benefiting the American Cancer Society. Registration is $35. Junior Duck Stamp Art Day: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 13751 Upper Embankment Road, Nampa. Young artists are given the opportunity to create and submit their own masterpiece to the Idaho Junior Duck Stamp art contest.
