Junior Duck Stamp Art Day: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 13751 Upper Embankment Road, Nampa. Young artists are given the opportunity to create and submit their own masterpiece to the Idaho Junior Duck Stamp art contest. Drop in any time to learn about Idaho waterfowl and create a contest entry. Supplies will be provided. Artwork must be submitted by March 15. Alpine tours (open to both skiers and riders) will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on gentle to moderate (intermediate) terrain. Bogus Basin Snowshoe: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bogus Basin. Depart and return from Nampa Rec Center, 131 Constitution Way. Snowshoeing adventure, followed by a warm beverage at the Frontier Point Nordic Lodge. $20, includes transportation, trail pass, snowshoeing tour and beverage. Optional snowshoe rental is $10.
