Over a dozen ski areas remain open in Idaho. Here’s when they plan to close for the season
Winter officially came to an end earlier this month, but that doesn’t mean Idaho’s ski resorts are ready to close their slopes for the season just yet.
If you still plan on hitting the slopes before the last of Idaho’s snow has melted, you’re in luck. According to Ski Idaho, there are still 15 ski areas in the Gem State that are open, nine of which plan to remain open into early and late April.
Here’s the full list and when they plan to close.
When do Idaho’s ski areas close?
Four out Idaho’s 19 ski areas have already closed for the season and five other ski areas plan to close by the end of March, but there are still 10 ski areas to choose from if you plan on hitting the slopes once April arrives.

Tamarack Resort has not announced when they will close.
Depending on weather and snow conditions between now and mid-April, some resorts and ski areas might open for a bonus weekend. Check ski areas’ websites and social media accounts for the most up-to-date information on closures or potential bonus dates.
