Change the laws so parents’ religious beliefs don’t supersede the medical rights of the child.
Mr. Sevy said, “ However, we believe that pharmaceuticals and medicine (are) a product from Satan.” This statement denies his “hope” of effectiveness and ignores God-given wisdom to humans. The Holy Bible does not give credence to Mr. Sevy’s belief. “To the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” In this First Century Letter of Paul’s to the Colossians, he calls “Luke, the beloved physician.” Would the Great Apostle say that if medicine is Satan’s work?
Many Christians, and nonbelievers, spend years studying/working in medicine and pharmacy for the betterment of all earthly beings. A committed Christian would not spend his lifetime following a “product of satan.” This is not to say this gift of knowledge has never been misused, rather, to make a generalization about this body of knowledge being “a product of satan” is wrong, ignoring the good that has been done over the centuries. The universal Christian Church has been a leader/advocate for the advancement of medicine through the schools of medicine and the hospitals they support.
