Keefe letter: Crane comment
According to an officer of our state, when we recite the Pledge of Allegiance in Idaho, we say, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republicans for which it stands.” Ron Crane says the flag of the United States stands only for members of the Republican Party. Where does that leave the rest of us? I guess I shouldn’t expect any kind of decency from the officials and leaders of our state. “ ... one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all Republicans.” It’s the Idaho way.
