Anderson letter: Add the Words

Recently I proudly took my out-of-state guests to visit the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial. All of us were touched by the lofty words of Frank, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and others. Standing in that lovely place, however, I couldn’t help but think how ironic it is for the city of Boise to have such a compassionate memorial while a few blocks away, the Idaho Legislature continually refuses to Add the Words, which would provide human rights to a sizable segment of its population.
