Campbell letter: Biblical morality
The progressive movement aims to abolish biblical morality in the public arena so their preferences become legal, and resistance toward their worldview is outlawed. Before religious freedom is outlawed, I plead with folks to consider the Bible narrative. There is one God, a spirit, creator of everything, who greatly loves people. God wants humans to know him, reproduce and raise godly children, and reign over the earth with care. God made people male or female, with a sex drive to be enjoyed in marriage between one man and one woman. All other sexual practices are sexual immorality and those who continue in it God will judge. However, God prefers people embrace Jesus Christ now as savior rather than face him as judge. Although everyone is born with a sin nature, God desires all to be reconciled to him by trusting in the historical Jesus as their sin-substitute for forgiveness. Jesus then frees believers from slavery to sin by giving them a new nature, so that they want to please God. This is vibrant meaningful life with God, for now and eternity. You won’t regret asking this God into your life. He will surprise you in marvelous ways.
