Stevens letter: Paul Simon concert

Monday, May 23, I attended the Paul Simon concert on the Old Penitentiary grounds. My most vivid memories are: lines, lines, lines, lines, lines ... too bad the “planners” of this fiasco were not incarcerated in the penitentiary for fraud — pretending it was a well-planned event.

Stood in many lines ... get in, get booze check, stand in line at least an hour to buy my “chips” for beer and then stand in line for beer. (I estimate  2-1/2 hours in lines — minimum). Had to go to the bathroom — bad. Several porta-potties were right where I was standing in line for beer — a woman with a badge told me I couldn’t use those potties — even though they were not in use at that time. I almost ... well, I’ll leave it to your imagination.

Boise folks deserve much better.

P.S. Music was wonderful.
