Treharne letter: GOP politics
Boy, now I’ve heard it all. So-called lifetime Republicans that won’t support the presumptive candidate, the people’s choice. They will not vote, and are even burning their membership cards. Well, I also am a lifelong Republican, not too proud of it the last few years, but I will support Donald Trump if he becomes the candidate. I was raised with the belief that you support the candidate even if he was not your original choice. These so-called Republicans are helping Hillary, something I would never do. Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, the Bushes, Paul Ryan, shame on you. I remember you guys when I was a kid. If we didn’t play the game you wanted, or if you lost, you took your marbles and went home and pouted. So go home, guys, sit on the porch and pout. In the meantime, I’ll remember I didn’t like you then, and I like you less now. Enjoy Hillary, you deserve her.
