Knight letter: Politics

I feel it would be a good idea for us to focus and realize what has been going on in Washington D.C. the last eight years.

I don’t care how many years you have been a Republican, please don’t just vote party without analyzing what it has done to this country. Literally handcuffing the president, doing everything they could do to keep him from accomplishing anything. Going against all the people that voted for him with no regard for damage caused to our country. Was that their job? What our taxes were paying for? An all out war in our own government?

It is time for a one-party system. No thanks to the Republican Congress, President Barack Obama has our country in better shape. Just look at the lengths he has been forced to go to to do the right things for us. Having to go around the Republican Congress.

Look at our own Republican governor. He spent all that money we could have used for schools and maintenance just to keep people that were born different from living their lives. Freedom is what our country stands for.
