Landers letter: Praying for peace

We as a country are only as great as the people who represent it and our strength comes from those who stand up for the rights of all, not a select few. Our country is made up of many and we need to be tolerant of others and learn from one another and be united to make America better but that can be done when we quit making excuses why we can’t and playing the blame game for why we can’t work together. America has fought in many wars on different shores so that freedom could be established and abolish those governments that had no respect for human rights because ask those who come to America in search of a better life and it is to get away from the inhumanity imposed by their government. America is great because of freedom and it comes at a price and many are willing to risk life and death to achieve it because they want what everyone else wants so I pray that one day that peace can become a reality not a fantasy. I pray one day when peace will exist and not a dream.
