Rybarczyk letter: Political correctness
I heard on the national news that a group of North Carolina school children were not allowed to sing our National Anthem at the 9-11 Memorial in New York. Our National Anthem.
A total slap in the face to all of those who died that day including firemen, policemen and the families who lost loved ones. Not to overlook all of our men and women who have died for our country, while serving in the military, to allow us this freedom.
If we as Americans do not wake up and put a stop to all of the “political correctness” stuff, our great nation will be destroyed.
It’s time to tell those who oppose our American way of life that enough is enough. As a veteran who proudly served in the Army, I saw to those people who wish to tear us down as a free nation — do the rest of us a favor and leave. Move to another country and find out what they are all about.
John F. Rybarczyk, Caldwell
