Rich letter: Ugh-ly editorial
It was unfortunate that Robert Ehlert (“An Ugh-ly choice: Clinton? Trump?” May 8) pitched our choice in the upcoming election like many in the ill-informed social media world. No, it’s not an “Ugh-ly Choice.” It’s an obvious choice for any thinking person.
Clinton is an experienced, informed, and intelligent public servant. Trump has no experience, is not informed, relying on tabloids and his own mind, and is not too bright, as evidenced by his junior-high, blow-hard attitude. Clinton can articulate the issue and a solution to any problem a president might have to face. Trump can articulate nothing, has no actual policy proposal on any topic, and resorts mostly to name calling, vulgarities, and hyperbole. Clinton earned her money. Trump inherited his. Clinton is a leader who has experience in making tough decisions on the world stage. Trump has a TV show, where he plays tough guy over a bunch of losers. Clinton understands the rights of all Americans and will continue to work for a more just society. Trump makes fun of the disabled, Latinos, women, Muslims, and colleagues.
The upcoming election presents Americans with the easiest choice in the history of U.S. presidential elections.
