Lugar letter: Democrats

I’d like to take this chance to criticize the Democratic Party of both America and Idaho. After years of exodus from left wing principles they’ve left us with a presidential candidate who is to the right of the Republican. I’m totally disgusted that our candidate voted for the Iraq invasion. I’m humiliated by the fact that she eagerly benefits from Citizens United and left speechless that she’s led the fight for unfair trade shipping our manufacturing base around the world.

Closer to home, I wonder if Idaho Democrats were paying attention when Bernie won the primary. I reckon not and expect another worthless blue dog candidate like Walt Minnick or one that actually voted Republican like A. J. last election. In my opinion, it’s not Republicans who have caused all the wealth inequality in America, it’s Democrats abandoning what they’ve stood for since Roosevelt.
