Sharon pushed to reduce parking rates at the Ada County Courthouse from $2.50 per hour with 10 minutes free to $1 per hour with one hour free.

Sharon worked with Idaho State University in Meridian to set up a Community Health Screening program, students gain hands-on experience, and county taxpayers save money because fewer uninsured people are receiving their medical care in hospital emergency rooms at taxpayer expense.
