Tanner letter: Horse racing

The article on killing the horse industry is right on but stops short. Sen. Brent Hill, Speaker Pro Tem, was a bully toward citizens and legislators in this matter. Legislators who represent us should have their say on establishing a Gaming Commission and building a bridge for the horse industry. Hill prevented them from being involved and stifled the voices of citizens of our state. Hill is conflicted and accepts money from powerful interests to stand against the citizens of our state.

Our Lt. Governor and his “peek a boo” politics concerns me. Is he strong enough to survive the likes of Hill?

Glen Tanner, Nampa
